OBJECTIVES 

The Objectives of the Australian Machine Quilting Association Inc (AMQA Inc) as described below are intended to demonstrate the overall intent of the Association, without specific reference to timelines during the infancy of the Association.

 The Association’s major stakeholders are: 

1                    The Machine Quilting Industry

2                    Machine Quilting Professionals

3                    Machine Quilting Industry customers 

AMQA aims to provide the following services to these major stakeholders. 

 

Machine Quilting Industry 

  • Provide and support Industry development opportunities and growth

  • Continue to raise the profile of the Industry

  • Establish a Code of Conduct

  • Stage an annual Machine Quilting judged showcase

  • Provide representation to various guilds

  • Establish a list of Standard Machine Quilting Terms

  • Encourage discussion of new and current issues facing the Machine Quilting Industry

 

Machine Quilting Professionals 

  • Provide a united representation of machine quilting professionals to support machine quilting professionals

  • Facilitate Networking formal and informal amongst members

  • Establish a Code of Conduct to support and encourage professionalism

  • Convene regular network and information gatherings

  • Establish a mentoring program

  • Seek and provide latest industry news and events

  • Via the AMQA website:

Ř      Provide opportunities for members to market their services

Ř      Provide a published list of machine quilting professionals (voluntary inclusion)

Ř      Provide up-to-date information on industry news and events. 

 

The Machine Quilting Customers 

  • Provide access to quality machine quilting services via AMQA Inc’s website and other forms of media

  • Establish and provide access to a ‘user friendly’ list of Standard Machine Quilting Terms

  • Provide quality customer service based on AMQA Inc’s Code of Conduct

  • Provide easy access to Machine Quilting Professionals and other Machine Quilting Services

  • Provide easy access to latest industry news and events
