Belinda Bett's Quilt Gallery

I have been quilting for about 15 years, and full time professional longarm quilting for 4 years now. I offer custom quilting only, with no edge to edge quilting, although I do the odd all over when custom is not required.

I have entered quilts into local, national and international quilt shows and have won both in Australia and the USA. I love to make quilts and especially love to quilt them, and take great care to ensure the quilting designs enhance the quilt top. Please have a look at my web site for more photos and pricing. Thank you.

"Blue and White Stars"

Made for the Australasian Machine Quilting Convention 2007, where the same quilt was made by each participant and quilted "as they liked".

It won 3rd prize in this competition, and 4th prize for Small Wallhanging section in the Sydney Quilt Show 2006. It is heavily quilted using a small background filler, feathers, and parallel lines.

"JAB 2"

This quilt was designed by Ann Visman, pieced by Julie Cox and quilted by me. It was designed for lots of quilting, and I have feathered it extensively, with feathered hearts and a tight background filler.

There is no stitching in the white at all, and the white pieces have been trapuntoed with another layer of wadding to fill them out a bit.

Rail Fence

Rail fence made by Di Gorringe of Molong. It has a spirally feather in the black and red rails, with a swirly design in the white rails.

Wholecloth challenge

This is a quilt which I made for a challenge in the USA in 2003, which won 1st prize. It is a small wholecloth, marked with a blue washaway pen, and then very heavily quilted with cross hatching, filler designs, and the floral designs came from EQ5.
