Jody Abel's Quilt Gallery
Jody Abel loves machine quilting so much that she entered a competition run
by Spotlight in 2007! Here are the details from Jody....
The quilt size was 36"x36" and I designed the quilt myself using EQ6. It was
template based design - first I have ever done - but I thoroughly enjoyed it! I
created the quilt with the quilting in mind (I wanted to attempt Trapunto). The
quilt competition was held by Spotlight with the first prize being a trip to
Houston for 2 valued at $8500.00. Then there was a prize for the winner from
each State - and I happened to win the Victorian prize ($250 to spend at
Spotlight). The quilt was named "Houston's pieceful feathers". Hoping for
Houston next year (more than likely self-funded!!!!).
Congratulations Jody!!
