The basket of Flowers has been made from a drawing my son Josh did when he was in preschool for Mothers Day.

He had taken SO much time to colour the flowers just right that his teacher had it on display for the week before.

I kept the drawing and made this wall hanging form it by quilting the background first and then adding the 3D flowers after.

Centre table mat made using curved ruler then quilted with a soft feather and simple flower in the center.

The background on this table center is just your basic small meander so that the center is highlighted.

This quilt was started by a dear friend when she was only 80 and I was able to finish it last year.

Peace On Earth has been back to the Tauranga annual exhibition New Zealand last year to be displayed in her Honour, as Anne passed away in 2006 aged 87.
